Edit by Brothersoft: ThunderPEC simplifies the management of certified electronic mail (PEC) in Thunderbird.

The Certified E-Mail (PEC) was established to replace the registered mail service in communication between professionals, citizens and institutions of a more efficient reporting mechanism. The system, based on the standard S / MIME, certify the exchange of documents between the Sender and recipient on the network and automatically informs the sender about the status of communication by providing receipts that have legal value.

ThunderPEC is proposed as a tool for simplified management of certified electronic mail in Thunderbird and can be selectively enabled only on account PEC.

A certified e-mail message consists of a transport envelope that contains the original e-mail message sent by the sender and an XML attachment summarizing the Details of the transaction. The envelope is signed digitally by the transport OperaTor PEC source.
ThunderPEC you directly to the original e-mail message and provides the tools to operate on the original message. It also manages the Notifications sent by the PEC PEC managers involved in the transaction.
