BS Editor: A win is based on if the compleated puzzle is error free (not if it matches the solution). At the end of a game a win or lose screen will cover the puzzle, clicking it will make it go away and show the puzzle, errors will be highlighted. Saving and loading is supported. High scores are recorded on timed games and saved for replay. Games can be replayed timed or not timed. Auto help and show solution features are disabled on timed games. Easily change the colors and font. Image files found in the folder with this .exe file will be randomly used as the cover screen. For Normal Sudoku: The goal is to put the numbers 1-9 in each row, column and 3x3 box. Set the numbers with the mouse (left button to insert answer, right to use pencil/scratch marks).
For Sudoku Solitaire: This concept of playing sudoku was created by bluenitesystems. It is the first of it's kind! The goal and game options are the same as in the regular Sudoku Puzzle; however, the numbers are played from a deck and discard pile, just like in the Solitaire card game. Click the Next card button to display a card then click where in the puzzle you want it to go or leave it in the discard pile for later and get a next card. The right mouse button still dose pencil/scratch marks). The undo button will undo one card.
The manual setup allows for doing puzzles from outside sources (can be timed but no high score). To use manual setup 1: Click the manual setup button,(it's text will change to "OK"), 2: set the numbers as you want by selecting the location with the left mouse button and selecting the number, 3: click the "OK" button. The game is Now ready to play.
There are ten skill levels available based on the amount of missing numbers in a 3x3 box,
