For Solar System Screen Saver 3.3Publisher's description

Solar System Screen Saver is a Desktop Utilities software developed by Crogon International. After our trial and test, the software is proved to be official, secure and free. Here is the official description for Solar System Screen Saver:

BS Editor: This is a free screen saver. It was created using only the highest quality photographs available for the objects in our solar system. You will see the sun, all the planets, many moons, comets and asteroids! You won't find a more attractive screen saver of it's kind. There is a nice soundtrack (from Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan [Copyright ? Paramount Pictures]) which is mutable. It has many smooth transition effects. You can change the transitions as well as display length, size, background, order and position settings. You can even change the screen saver mode to collage, slide show, or floating. All of the photos include captions. It can be quite educational.

All of the photos for this and my other screen saver, The Interstellar Screen Saver, came from NASA associated sites. I thank NASA and all of their co-horts for making these photos public domain (some other Countries and organizations aren't so kind with their space photos). The readme file includes a list of websites which are a wonderful resource for photos and information.

This software product is in no way associated with or endorsed by NASA.
There are 44 different objects displayed. Here is a list of the object names: The Solar System Family, The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth and Moon, The Earth, The Moon, Mars, asteroid Gaspra, asteroid Ida and it's moon Dactyl, the Jupiter family, Jupiter, Amalthea, Io, Europa, Callisto, Ganymede, the Saturn family, Saturn, Tethys, Enceladus, Epimepheus, Saturns' small moons, Janus, Mimas, Iapetus, Titan, Dione, Rhea, the Uranus family, Uranus, Titania, Miranda, Oberon, Ariel, Umbriel, Neptune, Proteus, Triton, Pluto and Charon, Comet Halley, comet Hale-Bopp, comet Kohoutek, and comet P/Shoemaker-Levy 9 . The list in the read me file is numbered, and also includes which agency or spacecraft snapped the photo, when the photgraph was taken, how it was taken, and from how far away!

Once again this screen saver is free, courtesy of Crogon International.
