Sitecount gets a website address or URL and parses all internal pages returning the number of words, characters (with and without spaces) and word Density for each one of them.
Sitecount retrieves also the number of words in title, alt text, meta-tags (description, keywords) and Link titles.
The user is able to save the results to a CSV file (use Excel or OpenOffice.org Calc to open it) or the entire textual content to a text file.
The software was written in Java therefore you can run it on Windows, all flavors of Linux, Mac Os X or whatever tickles your fancy. You need JRE 6 to run it or you can download the bundled version. you can free download Sitecount 0.0.2 Beta now.
