ProtectStar™ Mobile Firewall enables you to secure a mobile terminal against unauthorised access, data theft and abuse. It also allows the secure integration of mobile terminals into the IT infrastructure of your business.
To provide reliable Protection for pocket mobile Pocket PCs, handhelds and Smart Phones against unauthorised access, ProtectStar has developed ProtectStar™ Mobile Firewall with integrated dialler protection and a content filter.
The Firewall has been optimized for GPRS and UMTS networks and is highly compact. It is sutom-build for Pocket PCs and Smart Phones – devices that set up their internet connections, for instance, through a Bluetooth-enabled phones to provide them with Internet functions; and also for devices with their own mobile phone unit.
In addition,ProtectStar™ Mobile Firewall also allows the secure integration of mobile phones into the IT infrastructure of your Company, with IP filters for Wi-Fi, UMTS, GPRS, Bluetooth and USB connections.
