BSEditor: PLT Import for IntelliCAD is a Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language (HPGL) plot PLT file import plug-in for IntelliCAD powered applications. This plug-in gives IntelliCAD powered applications the ability to import geometric data from HPGL PLT files.
PLT is the Hewlett-Packard Graphics Language designed for specifying 2D graphical information for the HP range of plotters. It was not intended as an interchange format but some software suppliers use it as such. PLT is a command set embedded in the ROM of pen plotters to help reduce the work required by applications programmers to create plotted output. PLT uses two-letter mnemonics as instructions for drawing lines, circles, text, and simple symbols. PLT plot files contain information regarding the movement of the pen of the HP plotter. PLT Import for IntelliCAD converts these pen movements into corresponding entities and adds them to the active drawing.
PLT Import for IntelliCAD is very easy Once installed, it must be loaded into the IntelliCAD environment. Follow the simple instructions in the Getting Started document which can be found in the installation folder. Once loaded it adds new commands to IntelliCAD's existing commands and a new submenu called "PLTImport" to the IntelliCAD menu containing these newly added commands. you can free download PLT Import for IntelliCAD 1 now.
