BS Editor: Planetary Ephemerides is a DLL Library for Microsoft Windows that may be used from Microsoft Office Excel and others programs. Give us the positions of the planets using the algorithms defined by Pierre Bretagnon and Gerard Francou by means of the method of Seculars Variations of the Orbits of the Planets or VSOP (from the French Variations Séculaires DES Orbites Planétaires). The numeric calculations are performed from the VSOP87 files (BDL-9502), for calculations of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. For the Moon the solution ELP-2000/82 by Chapron has been implemented. In the case of Pluto is used a method proposed by Jean Meeus in his book Astronomical Algorithms, Jean Meeus, Copyright @1991 by Willmann-Bell, Inc. All others calculations, such as, Coordinates Transformation, Epoch, DELTA T, Universal Time (GST), LST (Local Sidereal Time), Obliquity, Nutation and Planetary Passages, are also based in this book. you can free download Planetary Ephemerides 1.0 now.
