PenyuBuzz is currently purely based on theoretical study with no scientific evidence. Even though it is not 100% effective, gradual and continuous researches will be conducted for improved effectiveness. PenyuBuzz will generate ultrasonic sound which cannot be heard by normal human which is normally Between the range of 16 to 20 KHz, depending on age and other Factor. Whilst mosquitoes and other insects have the audible range of ultrasonic sound, PenyuBuzz will generate random ultrasound to get rid of them.
To avoid the insects from becoming immune to the buzzing sound, PenyuBuzz has been designed to generate ultrasound at random and different melodies.
Is it effective? Some say yes, some say no. Some say non-sense, some say need for more research. But dogs do respond to its whistle. And in UK, they use "Mosquito repellent" to get rid of youth loitering at certain places which has been hotly debated in parliament.
