After you enter an item orGenta scans the words and places your item into each matching category. You may add extensive notes to each item and store non-indexed information such as phone numbers, eMail, and web addresses. You may sort your items by any column.
orGenta also imports and exports data and offers a variety of printing options.
orGenta is shareware written in Microsoft's C#.Net and hence will run on Windows computers that have the .NET Framework installed.
orGenta Organizing Software Features
orGenta stores information in Items, Categories, and Notes.
A Category is usually a single word; the categories are shown in a TreeView display. You can "nest" categories within one another, for example you may have a category called Friends that has categories nested within it called Joe, Sam, and Marsha.
An Item is usually a sentence or two describing a tidbit of information you would like to Categorize; orGenta shows Items in a Spreadsheet grid.
A Note is usually a long block of text associated with an Item, or sometimes additional information about the item that you don't want automatically categorized. You may store many pages of text within an item's Note, and may paste text from other applications.
Automatic Background Category Assignment
An Item is placed within the category where you type it, and any categories that match any of the words within your Item. For example, if you type "Invite Sam and Marsha to the party" then that item will appear under both the Sam and the Marsha categories. you can free download orGenta 1.3.2 Build 794 now.
