JpegDater is a Photo & Image software developed by Matej Sprogar. After our trial and test, the software is proved to be official, secure and free. Here is the official description for JpegDater:

Edit By BS Editor: JpegDater modifies the date relevant fields of the JPEG (.jpg) files. Simply drag-and-drop the image file(s) onto the appropriate calendar day to update their Exif information with this date.
A simple pop-up menu lists the following:

* Help displays this text;
* About displays information about the author and program;
* Update DATETIME if present, drop will update the main date field that specifies the creation date;
* Update DATETIME_ORIGINAL if present, drop will update the date field;
* Insert DATETIME_ORIGINAL if missing, this tag will be inserted and updated. This option is available only if the previous option (update DATETIME_ORIGINAL) is also selected.
* Update DATETIME_DIGITIZED if present, drop will update the digitalization date of the image;
* Update file's TimeStamp drop will modify the file's modified time-stamp;
* Use existing time use existing time (DATETIME hh:mm:ss) from Exif as the time of creation of the picture. Use with caution as this option prevails over order implied by sequential naming in the by date ordered collections;
* Always on top keep JpegDater on top of other windows;
* Create backup create a backup Copy of every file dropped.
