BrothersoftEditor/ JMapView (written entirely in Java) is a JavaBean for adding interactive maps or GIS to your Internet, intranet or standalone applications. The control allows you to create any type of map or layout interfaces that you would like your users to interact with. The product also includes samples for USA maps ready to be included into your own applications.
The main features include:
Creating any irregularly shaped hotspot regions on your maps or layouts
Detecting mouse events for hotspot regions (MouseMove, MouseDown etc)
Support for mouse rollover highlighting and tool tips.
Support for momentary, toggled, or multi-state hotspot regions
Support panning and zooming.
Built-in printing support
Allowing you to assign labels to hotspot regions
Allowing you to dynamically change hotspot regions with a variety of attributes (fill colors, borders etc).
