This can be used for adding extra modulation envelopes to synths and effects or even other Complex midi Chains.
For example you can make the feedback on a short delay increase when you play a note on a synth. Or you make the plugin to control a parameter that you wish had modulation but doesn't on your synth, such as mix on Synth1.
