Digital Clay is software that allows you to design 3-D shape in a manner like clay work. Since it is very easy-to-use software, beginners who don't have any knowledge of 3-D computer graphics can easily work with it !
Deformation Function
More than 20 types of brush shapes for crushing or pinching shape.
3 brush types (depth, normal and spherical) to specify the affected direction of tools.
Adjust radius, pressure, angle and spacing, etc. easily by using floating palette.
Apply tools to front, reverse or both sides of shape.
More than 20 types of auto distortion filters to deform shape in pre-defined manner.
Smooth brush to smooth model surface.
Define mask to protect where you don't want to deform.
Primitive Shapes
Design the 3-D shape simply and intuitively by operation of crushing or pinching the base shape (primitive), instead of creating from scratch. You can choose following shapes as primitives:
Sphere
Cylinder
Cube
Plane
Cylinder
Import 3-D data file:
DXF format - polygons defined as 3DFACEs.
STL format - ASCII format only.
