BrothersoftEditor: This fully functional guitar shareware lets you easily generate chord charts, tablature, and MIDI files. The intuitive user interface allows you to enter music by clicking on the guitar neck. Teaching mode allows you to display information while the onscreen guitar plays examples, with two example lessons included. The help file has a step-by-step tutorial. Version 2.0 has many improvements and additions.

Desktop Guitarist allows you to learn tunes by copying the on-screen guitar as it plays. You can easily enter your own tunes and save them as midi files, chord charts or tablature. Desktop Guitarist is very easy to understand and use and will appeal to players of all levels. Lesson mode is a useful tool for teachers and students and can be used as a means of teaching chords, scales, etc. Sample lessons and music files are included. A CD will be shipped to you promptly upon Receipt of your order.

Note: The trial version features a 15-second start-up delay. Otherwise, this is fully functional, five-fret guitar software. The PAID version has 24 frets.
