The more detailed one includes more outputs like motor temperature and power. There is also another model based of the physical modelling tools SimPowerSystems and SimDriveline, to show how elegant a system like a DC motor can be modeled with them. There are are also sample Simulink models with a load connected to the DC motor. Included are also two MATLAB(R) scripts implementing the DC motor and DC motor with load models in state-space. you can free download DC Motor Model 2.0 now.
