COM-Control is a utility to test an control the communication on serial ports.
You can transfer all kind of values (special signs like AK, NAK, ENQ, etc, string values or hex values) and receive them. COM-Control offers the possibility to pass-thru and control the communication between to units (e.g. a cash register and a PC).
For this options, the controlling PC needs two real serial ports.
Especially for developpers of software for cash registers and POS, there are functions to commubicate with units like Barcode scanners, scales, cash Drawers, etc. The perfile and setup may be saved.
TAKE CARE: COM-Control only works with real serial ports because the program acceeds them directly, by passing Windows. Therefore COM-Control doesn't work with converted serial ports like of an USB to serial converter. you can free download COM-Control 2.2 now.
