Description- "Assist in the use of the Windows Serial and Network interfaces of your computer."
BrothersoftEditor, This program is designed to assist in the use of the Windows Serial and Network interfaces of your computer.
Connections can be made by menu selection or clicking the Icon below the desired interface. Connection and Disconnection functions are only active when available. Connections can also be made and data sent via Command Script Control.
When Connected to a serial (Com) port, the user can send and recieve data via the keyboard or text file. Serial Port Properties such as baud rate, word size, start/stop bits, handshaking, parity and error handling may be individually configured.
Modem selection can be accomplished automatically via the Find Modem command in the Modem Sub-Menu.
When used as a Network Client via the Winsock interface, data can be sent and recieved via the keyboard or text file.
Display options such as Font Size, Text Style, Text Color, Background Color, Local Echo are selectable via Pull Down Menus.
