What does the program do?
It removes the ads from the AIM program! This in effect makes AIM and the established internet connection run more smoothly. Without the need to download and display new ads, AIM becomes much more convenient and much less conglomerate greed based.
It also removes the tickers and instant alerts! When you sign on to any screen name they will never come up as Default. This eliminates the need to close them manually every time AIM is logged on.
Troubleshooting
If the ads return on reboot or AIM reload, simply remove the 'Start AIM with Windows' option from the AIM preferences menu.
If you put AIM into your Windows Startup folder, it will still load with Windows and the ads will not show. you can free download AIM Ad Remover 4.4 now.
