The database consists of 8,000 Chinese characters, and the program is suitable for beginning to advanced students.
Active Chinese Desktop Edition is for your home PC while Pocket PC edition allows you to learn 8,000 Chinese characters anywhere on the road.
Requirements. The student needs to be familiar with the standard Pinyin Phonetic system as used in mainland China. The Pocket PC edition runs on Pocket PC/Pocket PC 2002. The desktop version runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.
