By BS Editor: Modify Access MDE is program that enables you to unlock the design of MS Access MDE, ACCDE and ADE files in case you have misplaced the MDB, ACCDB or ADP source file or it become corrupted.
Unlocking the design of MDE, ACCDE and ADE files allows you to modify the forms and reports, add new ones, copy the forms/reports design to another Access application and change the way the application works by changing data bindings, expressions, macros and event handling.
Access 97 MDE files that where opened in Access 2000, 2002 (XP) or 2003 before the compilation to MDE are fully reverted to MDB format including all the VBA code.
Please note that the VBA code is not accessible in all other cases.
Modify Access MDE never modifies your original file; it creates a design enabled copy of your file.
All Access MDE, ACCDE and ADE formats up to (including) Access 2007 are supported.
The new version (1.9) enables full editing of Access 2007 SP 1 MDE, ADE and ACCDE files.
Modify Access MDE runs on MS Windows 2000/XP/2003 and Vista platforms.
The correct version of MS Access is also needed.
