Absolute Piano : Steinway Concert Grand. This piano has been sampled from a huge Steinway Model D piano. It sounds large and deep. It can be used for all kind of music from pop/rock to classical music.
What's new in this version?
We've removed most of the 'simulation' options. They were taking too much process. Now the simulation has been limited to the pedal sound for classic piano . It speeds up the sample Playback by 2!
Polyphony : the Absolute piano can play 128 notes simultaneously!
New sound-bank, all the new Pianos were recorded in the summer 2006 when the piano shop was closed. I've used ADK TC microphones with ART Pro Channel valve pream to get the warmest sound. The piano sound is deeply compressed (lossless) to be small (280mb only). The compression is not audible.
The reverb has been enhanced, it is now as good as any professional one. Also there are 2 vu-meters for left and right precise view instead of one for the mix of the two channels in V2. The interface is clearer, the license is displayed on the main surface.
