1-Marsexplorer_fly.exe is just an application where you can fly as you want and paint the Mars surface.
2-Marsexplorer_rec is an application that works like the FLY more but it records everything you do in a file.
3-Marsexplorer_play is the screen saver. It is also an application that can play a pre-recorded paths made with the RECORD mode.

-2 mode : Day and Night.
-Dynamic tesselation to display a very high number of polygon at higher frame rate.
-Visual distance option setting, used to select the vision range.
-Paint option, used to display different textures according to the relief.
-Thresold option to tweak the minimum and maximum optimization to display the landscape. Closer you are, more detail you see...
-Volumetric Fog.
